Coronavirus: cancellation of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival

France counts, henceforth, more than 2800 people affected by coronavirus. As a security measure, the French government has prohibited any event gathering more than 1000 people.

The Cannes Film Festival, scheduled for 12-23 May 2020, is likely to be cancelled. The festival does not have an insurance cover against pandemics.
