Crédit Agricole Assurances to secure a stake in Europ Assistance France

Crédit Agricole Assurances has announced the acquisition of 50% of Europ Assistance France's capital. This takeover is carried out through Pacifica, the insurer's non-life subsidiary. The transaction would be finalized by January 2021. It is still pending approval from the supervisory authorities.

The deal will allow Europ Assistance France to strengthen its position as France's leading assistance company and Crédit Agricole Assurances to expand its range of services.
