On 21 December 2022, Crédit Populaire d'Algérie (CPA) signed agreements with two takaful insurance companies.
The first partnership, concluded between the CPA and El-Djazaïr El- Moutahida Family Takaful pertains to the coverage of financing intended for individuals.
The second agreement, signed with El-Djazaïr Takaful, concerns the coverage of financing intended for companies.
With this initiative, the public bank aims to develop its Islamic finance activities, notably through the distribution of takaful insurance products through its entire national network.
