Cyber risk insurance in full swing in India

The upsurge in cyber-crimes in India has pushed several local companies to protect themselves against this kind of hazard. With 250 companies, having underwritten insurance policies in 2017, the market of cyber-crime has more than doubled in one year.

The average premium currently amounts to 2 billion INR (31.56 million USD). This figure is likely to reach 4 billion INR ( 63 million USD) in the next two years.
