Draft bill on the attributions of CFC status

A draft bill providing for the establishment of Tangier’s offshore financial market under the supervision of Casablanca Finance City (CFC) has been submitted to competent authorities. The bill provides for the extension of CFC status to the companies based in Tangier.

Signed by the department of treasury and external finance, this document is designed to broaden corporate activities for companies eligible to CFC. Credit establishments, banks, insurance and reinsurance companies, brokerage companies, asset managers, collective investment bodies, investment service providers and offshore companies may henceforth apply for this status.
