Fikru Tsegaye Wordofa wins AIO Book Award

Fikru Tsegaye Wordofa, General Manager, Strategy and Business Development, and Secretary General of Ethiopian Reinsurance Share Company (Ethiopian-Re) has won the AIO Book Award 2023 for his book "Islamic Insurance in Ethiopia".

The award was presented at the 49th AIO Conference held from 27 to 31 May 2023 in Algeria. F. Wordofa has a total of 18 years' experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He launched his professional career in 2005 with Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC) before joining Ethiopian-Re in 2016 to hold a number of management positions.
