Fitch Ratings confirms SCOR's rating

Fitch Ratings confirms the SCOR group's AA- financial strength rating and A+ issuer credit rating. The outlook for both ratings is stable.

The rating agency believes that the reinsurer's capitalisation is very solid and that the group's financial strength would not be significantly affected assuming a normal level of natural disaster loss experience.

The agency also expects that the COVID-19 claims will be covered by SCOR. According to Fitch, the Group's ROE would be set at 8% by 2021.
