In order to preserve the policyholders’ interests following the total containment of the country scheduled from 23 March to 4 April 2020, the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Comanies (FTUSA) announced, in a press release published on 22 March 2020, the following measures:
- insurance companies are committed to providing a minimum service in accordance with the country's quarantine provisions,
- Motor insurance contracts which expired on March 22 are extended by seven days starting from April 4, the end of quarantine.
- Any information about other services or contracts (other than motor) will be provided to clients through a remote exchange. Insurance companies and their agencies remain available to customers via telephone, email, fax and social networks.
