Guinea Insurance authorized to underwrite "Oil and Gas" business

According to a statement released Thursday by Ufot Hanson, team leader of Guinea Insurance's corporate services, the insurer has received the certificate of the Nigerian Petroleum Exchange (NIPEX) to underwrite "Oil & Gas" business.

This certification is the result, according to the insurer, of "strategic reengineering initiatives [of the company] which are beginning to bear fruit," and its recent membership in the African Insurance Organisation (AIO).
