According to the observatory of the evolution of insurance business(OEMA), the number of employees in the insurance sector amounted to 146 200 as at December 31, 2016.
Almost 94% of work contracts are permanent ones. There has been a significant improvement in the university level of staff. The percentage of recruitment of graduates (having a 5-year university level), which barely exceeded 30% in 2010, has increased to 40% six years later.
The rate of employees'access to training has also increased. In 2016, 80.5% of employees received at least one training session.
