The International Labour Organization partner of the NAICOM

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has partnered with the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) to support its efforts to increase the rate of insurance penetration in the country.

Prisca Soares, Executive Secretary of the ILO, justifies the interest of the organization to Nigeria by the size of its market and the measures taken in the field, especially for microinsurance.
A first stage of the partnership will be the organization of a microinsurance's training in Abuja from 8 to 11 September 2014.
