Kamal Tabaja, chief underwriting officer at Trust Re

Kamal Tabaja has been promoted chief underwriting officer, a decision that came into effect on 1 November 2013. As part of his new duties, K. Tabaja oversees all underwriting activities, facultatives and treaties, of Trust Re, its branches and subsidiaries.

A graduate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII), K. Tabaja joined Trust Re in 2002 as assistant underwriter within the treaty department. He became senior underwriter in charge of energy risks in 2011 and senior energy and marine underwriter in February 2013.
