Kay International AMEA: AM Best rating

AM Best has assigned Kay International AMEA (United Arab Emirates) a “PA-3” (solid) performance rating with a stable outlook.

Kay International AMEA is a managing general agent (MGA) specializing in facultative reinsurance coverage in emerging markets around the world. It is the first MGA in Asia, the Middle East and Africa to be assigned a rating by AM Best.

The rating agency's decision reflects MGA's strong underwriting capabilities, structured governance framework, rigorous internal controls, excellent financial position, organizational talent and extensive network of relationships.

Since the start of its underwriting activities in 2019, MGA has recorded robust growth in its target markets, particularly in 2023 and 2024.
