British insurance and reinsurance giant Lloyd's of London has announced several new appointments to its executive management team. On 2 June 2025, Patrick Tiernan assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lloyd's of London.
Formerly held by P. Tiernan, the position of Chief of Markets has been divided into two separate functions, Performance and Oversight.
P. Tiernan is now surrounded by a team composed of:
- Rachel Turk: Chief of Market Performance. She has also joined the Lloyd's Council and will chair the Lloyd's Capital Planning Group (CPG).
- Caroline Sandeman-Allen: Chief of Market Oversight. She will also chair the Lloyd's Market Oversight Group (MOG).
- Jonathan May: CEO of Lloyd's Europe.
- Dawn Miller: Head of Corporate Affairs and Chairwoman of Lloyd's Business Opportunities Committee (BOC). She will also retain her functions as Group Chief Commercial Officer and CEO for the Americas.
The following positions remain unchanged:
- Alexandra Cliff: CFO and member of the Lloyd's Council
- Nathan Adams: Chief People Officer
- Claire Schrader: General Counsel
- David Sansom: Chief Risk Officer
George Marcotte will continue to act as Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO), pending the appointment of a permanent COO.
