Motor insurance available on internet

Since January 1, 2013, Omani people can underwrite motor insurance online. The improved service provided to customers results from the establishment by all insurers of a database accessible to police stations. This technology, called e-link, was then extended to the insured, enabling them to underwrite motor insurance online or renew traffic certificates. This system is poised to reduce the number of offences.
