Motor insurance covers natural catastrophes in Saudi Arabia

Natural catastrophes coverage will, henceforth, be included in the motor insurance contract in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) pointed out that insurance plans pertaining to floods, storms and hail will henceforth be integrated in the motor baseline coverage.

This obligation is due to come into effect in 2018.
