Motor third party liability premium discounts in Morocco

The Fédération Marocaine des Sociétés d'Assurances et de Réassurance (FMSAR) enables its members to proceed to discounts on motor third party liability (TPL) premiums and associated guarantees for insured vehicles during the two months of lockdown.

These discounts, which can go up to 30%, are driven by the decline in claims recorded during this period. These reductions will come into effect upon renewals of motor liability contracts between 1 June 2020 and 31 May 2021. The total amount of this operation stands at 500 million MAD (50.1 million USD) for Moroccan insurance companies.
