A new chairman at the head of the AIO

Lamia Ben Mahmoud, chairman and general manager of Tunis Re, was elected head of the African Insurance Organization (AIO), at the 42 nd conference and general meeting of the organization held in late May in Tunis.

She takes over from Jean Baptiste Ntukamazina, president of the Association of Rwandan insurers. L. Ben Mahmoud, who joined Tunis Re in August 2009, had been vice president of AIO since May 2014.
She has also been member of the steering committee of the Tunisian federation of insurance companies (FTUSA) since 2009.
