The new insurance code in Tunisia

The Finance Minister Ridha Chalghoum announced on Monday, February 18, 2019, during the FANAF 43^rd General Assembly, the forthcoming adoption of the new insurance code in Tunisia. The latter will be approved by the Council of Ministers in March 2019.

Since its enactment in 1992, the insurance code has been amended several times. The latest developments relate mainly the introduction of the supervisory authority (CGA) in 2008 and Takaful insurance in 2015.
