New regulation for travel agencies

The new regulation provides for an improved coverage for tourists in case of accidents occuring during their displacement accross the country. It will come into force after approval of the Ministry of Tourism which will set the minimum limit of the new policies. An amount of 50 000 USD is proposed by agencies.

The new regulation is targeting travel agencies in particular. Its purpose is to restore the image of the country in view of the increasing road accidents involving tourists in recent years.
