The number of fraudulent insurers is worrisome

The Nigerian Insurance Association (NIA) is concerned about the growing number of fraudulent insurers operating in the motor business. These fraudulent insurers hand over fake insurance certificates but they are not able of indemnifying customers. Their number being higher than that of the official players, the authorities decided to step in and combat this practice through arrests. A data base, helping identify cheaters, has been recently set up.
