Orient Insurance plans to expand to Maghreb and Middle East

Orient Insurance might consider the possibility of creating insurance companies in Algeria, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, according to Mohamed Moustafa Abdelrassoul, CEO of Arab Orient Takaful Insurance (group subsidiary). The Lybian option might have been ruled out because of the political situation prevailing over there.

M. M. Abdelrassoul also said to the financial magazine Amwal Al Ghad that Orient Insurance had recently settled in Turkey, by opening a non-life insurance company.
