Korba, a Ghanaian multi-channel electronic platform, is partnering up with Prudential Life Insurance Ghana with the aim of providing health and life coverage to its customers. This initiative falls under the "Korba Care" loyalty program.
The new service is to provide financial support to customers through two plans:
- The first plan pertains to hospital care (Hospital Cash Plan HCP): policyholders are covered up to 100 GHS (17.30 USD) per day for 30 days of hospitalization.
- The second plan covers death and total permanent disability (TPD) benefits: the insured or designated beneficiary would receive a lump sum of up to 10 000 GHS (1 730 USD).
Korba customers also benefit from a free-of-charge Covid-19 coverage.
