Professional code of conduct for insurance companies in Egypt

The Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) is currently working on a draft of a professional code of conduct designed for local insurers. This provision governs ethical rules of the insurance business, accounting standards along with governance guidelines for insurance companies concerned.

An expert committee has been tasked to draft a document that makes it also possible to resolve common conflicts of interests between insurers and insured.
