Profits sharply increasing for Warba Insurance

Warba Insurance has published its results for the year 2012. Profit amounted to 1.020 million KWD (3.6 million USD), representing an increase of 66.9% compared to 2011. Despite a difficult economic environment, the turnover rose by nearly 4% to 26.269 million KWD (93.09 million USD).

Shareholders’ equity increased by 3.2% at 47.4 million KWD (168 million USD). Anwar Jawad Bukhamseen, the group’s chairman considers the year 2012 as the best ever made by the company. The market share of Warba now stands at 12%.
