Promoting digital insurance in Qatar

The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) intends to develop a regulatory framework governing the digital insurance business in the country.

This initiative is part of Qatar's strategic plan to speed up the financial sector's digital transformation, among other things.

According to the QCB, digital insurers offer several advantages, including greater cost efficiency and faster claims processing.
