The president of Côte d'Ivoire's association of insurance companies (ASA-CI), Saliou Bakayoko, presented on 12 February 2019 the provisional figures of the insurance sector for 2018.
The market reported a turnover of 360 billion FCFA (628 million USD) with 43% for life insurance and 57% for non-life. These two classes gained respectively 4.7% and 16.4% over one year.
