Reaction magazine rewards the reinsurer Scor

On September 30, the French reinsurer Scor has been elected "Best Global Reinsurance Company" by the British magazine Reaction following a survey of the market players. Scor achieves a turnover of 6.3 billion EUR (9 billion USD). Its capital amounts to 4.2 billion EUR (6 billion USD). The company employs 1 600 people across six hubs and 44 offices. More good news for the group: AM Best has raised its outlook on the group from “stable” to “positive”. According to the agency, the rating reflects the quality of the portfolio and that of the assets held along with the low level of indebtedness of the reinsurer.
