Sanlam Maroc: turnover increase in Q1 2023

Sanlam Maroc has recorded a 2.193 billion MAD (213.7 million USD) turnover as at 31 March 2023, up by 7.2% compared to the 2.045 billion MAD (209.4 million USD) posted at the end of the first quarter of 2022.

Non-life premiums have progressed by 7.4% to 1.927 billion MAD (187.8 million USD), while life premiums climbed by 5.8% to 266 million MAD (25.9 million USD).

During the period under consideration, investments allocated to insurance operations and net technical reserves amounted to 15.507 billion MAD (1.5 billion USD) and 15.699 billion MAD (1.6 billion MAD) respectively.
