SCG-Ré: successful capital increase

Initiated on 1 November 2022, the Public Offering of the Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Ré) has been successfully closed on 30 November 2022.

The operation has been met with a strong public response. The Gabonese reinsurer has collected 5.66 billion FCFA (9.05 million USD) for an initial target of 5 billion FCFA (8 million USD), that is, a 113% underwriting rate.

This fund raising has brought the company's share capital from 10 billion FCFA (15.99 million USD) to 15 billion FCFA (23.99 million USD).

The underwritten securities will be listed on the Central African Securities Exchange (BVMAC).
