Scor acquires 100% of MutRé's capital

Scor has announced the acquisition of 100% of MutRé's capital, the second life reinsurer of the French market. An agreement has been signed in this respect between the national federation of the French mutuality (FNMF) and the two aforementioned partners. The agreement is subject to the approval of the company's shareholders.

The transaction would be completed in early 2018. The French reinsurer had a 33% stake in MutRé since its creation in 1998.
