SCOR acquires almost all of Transamerica Re

SCOR Global Life has finalized the acquisition of the entire capital of Transamerica Re, Aegon's American subsidiary.

The French group had already acquired, on two occasions (in 2011 and in 2017), nearly half of the life reinsurance business of the Dutch insurer.
