The SCR opens its capital to private actors

The Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) is about to open part of its capital to the private sector. The terms and details of the transaction have not been communicated yet.

This initiative aims to strengthen the financial base of the national reinsurer which has gradually lost the legal cession windfall.

The SCR is owned at 94% by the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG).
