Second Session of the Young Insurance Professionals Program (YIPP)

The second session of the Young Insurance Professionals Programme (YIPP) started in February 2020. First initiated by Africa Re in 2018, the programme provides a nine-month online training in insurance, reinsurance, leadership and management.

The number of participants of this year’s session has increased from 250 to 1.000, the best of which will be awarded:

• a certificate of completion of training delivered by Africa Re
• an invitation to a Capstone On-Campus to improve their management and leadership skills
• a sponsorship to attend one of the major insurance and/or reinsurance events in Africa (AIO, FANAF, GAIF, FAIR, ...)

The Young Insurance Professionals Programme is co-financed by the German development finance institution DEG (Deutsch Investment Corporation) while the training is designed by the London School of Insurance.
