The ceremony marking the listing of 250 000 shares issued by Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance (SCG-Ré) on the Central African Stock Exchange (BVMAC) was held on 26 January 2023 in Douala, Cameroon.
During the inaugural listing, SCG-Ré's shares were sold at the offering price of 20 500 FCFA (33.95 USD) per share, which represents a 2.5% increase compared to the issue price of 20 000 FCFA (33.13 USD).
Following this new listing, the BVMAC now includes seven companies listed in the shares compartment with a global value of 651 billion FCFA (1.08 billion USD).
It is worth noting that the Gabonese reinsurer had launched a public offering in November 2022 which allowed it to raise 5 billion FCFA (8.28 million USD).
