STAR: results as at 30 September 2022

As at 30 September 2022, the Société Tunisienne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (STAR) has recorded a 3.5% increase in its turnover amounting to 296.943 million TND (89.9 million USD).

Non-life premiums have reached 269.419 million TND (81.6 million USD) against 27.524 million TND (8.3 million USD) for the life class of business.

During the first nine months of 2022, the amount of settled claims stood at 209.477 million TND (63.4 million USD) against 181.262 million TND (64.4 million USD) at the end of September 2021, representing a 15.6% growth over one year.

The financial products were up by 3.4% to a total of 73.213 million TND (22.2 million USD).
