TALA Assurances, the number one life insurance company in Algeria

TALA Assurances inaugurated, on 24 May 2017, a fourth agency in Algiers (Garidi). The life insurance subsidiary of the Compagnie Algérienne des Assurances Transport (CAAT) has now 14 branches namely in Algiers, Oran, Skikda, Annaba, Béjaïa, Tizi Ouzou, Blida and Ouargla.

Another novelty is that the company has signed bancassurance partnerships with the Banque Extérieur d'Algérie (BEA), the Banque de Développement Local (BDL) and the CNEP Banque.

With shares of 55% held by CAAT, 30% by the national investment fund and 15% by the BEA, TALA Assurances generated a turnover of 2.2 billion DZD (20 million USD) in 2016. Thanks to these results, the company maintained the leadership of life insurance companies in Algeria.
