Tunisia to extend motor insurance contracts validity

Following the upholding of the lockdown as decided by the authorities on 19 April 2020, the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies (FTUSA) has extended the validity of motor insurance contracts, which expired on 22 March 2020.

The latter shall benefit from a 7-days extension following the date of the current lockdown, set for 3 May 2020.

The FTUSA reiterates that insurance companies and their agencies remain in service for customers and can be reached remotely via phone, website, mail and social media.
