Tunisia, net profit of 6.2 million USD for Astree in 2015

Astree Assurances posted rising profits by 8.7% at 12.661 million TND (6.2 million USD) in 2015. During the same year, the Tunisian insurer reported an increase of its written premiums by 4.3% at 124 million TND (61.3 million USD).

Motor and miscellaneous accident insurance have sustained the growth of turnover whereas marine and oil risks are falling the loss ratio rose at 51.01% compared to 49.32% in 2014. Investment revenues are on the rise by 603 000 TND (298 000 USD) thanks to the sound performance of the securities portfolio.
