Turkey, at the top of MENA area

According to the latest annual report of global insurance published by Swiss Re, the Turkish insurance market leads Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets, in terms of written premiums' volume.

Turkey recorded 12.46 billion USD of premiums in 2013, a figure which rank the country 38th of the overall standings.

The Top 5 of the MENA zone are:

1. Turkey - 38^th
2. Iran - 42^th
3. United Arab Emirates - 44^th
4. Saudi Arabia - 45^th
5. Morocco - 53^th
