World Cup 2018: The Saudi team's plane catches fire in full flight

The Saudi team taking part in the 2018 Russia World Cup came close to an aircraft crash when landing in Rostov-on-Don in the evening of June 18, 2018.

An aircraft engine, an Airbus A319, suddenly took fire. Fortunately, the landing could be done without damage and all members of the Saudi delegation are safe.

The incident would be of a technical origin, a bird could be the cause of the engine fire.
