Zitouna Bank and Zitouna Takaful ceded to Majda Group

The company Majda Tunisia has acquired 70% of Zitouna Bank and 69.15% of its insurance subsidiary Zitouna Takaful. Majda, a subsidiary of the eponymous Qatari group, takes, therefore, the control of the two institutions specialized in Islamic finance.

These two acquisitions amount to 370 million TND (131.3 million USD).
