ChatGPT sparks insurers' interest
ChatGPT, the prototype of an artificial intelligence-based conversational agent, is increasingly gaining traction in several industries, including insurance.
Industry professionals believe that ChatGPT is a technological leap forward that will replace some jobs and create others, as asking ChatGPT the right questions or giving it the right prompts requires a good deal of learning.
Other insurers, however, are cautious about this new tool, which has yet to reach its maturity phase.
Created in November 2022 by OpenAI, a company specialized in artificial intelligence, ChatGPT is a conversational agent that is able to answer questions, complete sentences, translate texts, etc.
Two months after its introduction, the solution has registered 100 million users worldwide.
