Ping An Insurance: net profit increase in H1 2022

Ping An Insurance has recorded a 1.6% increase in its half-yearly turnover in original currency. It went from 422.498 billion CNY (65.4 billion USD) as at 30 June 2021 to 429.289 billion CNY (64.05 billion USD) a year later.

Life and health premiums totaled 282.247 billion CNY (42.11 billion USD) against 147.042 billion CNY (21.94 billion USD) for the non-life activity.

The net profit progressed by 3.9% to reach 60.273 billion CNY (9 billion USD) at the end of the first half of 2022.

During the period under review, the operating result stood at 85.34 billion CNY (12.7 billion USD), improving by 4.2% over a year.
