Bernd Martens appointed Group Commercial Director of Malakut Insurance Brokers

Bernd Martens has been appointed Group Commercial Director of Malakut Insurance Brokers, a newly created position at the Emirati insurance and reinsurance brokerage company.

Based in Dubai, B. Martens will be in charge of leading the group's global sales, contributing to profit growth and improving the company's services.

A graduate of the EU Business School in Munich, B. Martens launched his professional career in 1999, during which time he occupied various management positions at companies such as Aon, Marsh and Willis.

Founded in 1999, Malakut is present in eight countries with offices in Almaty (Kazakhstan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Panama, Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Hanoi (Vietnam), Istanbul (Turkey), London (UK) and Zurich (Switzerland), in addition to its head office in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
