La Banque Postale and CNP Assurances combine their insurance operations

La Banque Postale and CNP Assurances have finalized the last stage of their merger, which began in 2018, with the establishment of a major bancassurance group in France.

Since 11 April 2023, the new entity, called CNP Assurances Holding, has brought together CNP Assurances and La Banque Postale's four insurance subsidiaries - property and casualty, pension, health and brokerage - under the same roof. The holding company is fully owned by the French banking group.

It is worth noting that in June 2022, La Banque Postale became the sole shareholder of CNP Assurances after acquiring 100% of its capital.
