Insurance training program in Qatar

The Ministry of Labour is organizing an insurance training program for male and female Qatari jobseekers, as well as the children of Qatari women.

This initiative is part of the program aimed at nationalizing jobs in the insurance sector.

Five insurers are taking part in the session: Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company, General Takaful Insurance Company, Qatar Islamic Insurance Group, Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) and Doha Takaful.

The program includes:

• three days of theoretical training, allowing participants to learn about the nature of work in insurance companies, their various fields of activity and their vital role in the development of the national economy,
• seven days of practical training at the headquarters of one of the companies involved in the program.
