Standard & Poor's affirms SCOR's rating

Standard & Poor's (S&P) has confirmed the "A+" financial strength rating of SCOR and its main operating subsidiaries with a stable outlook.

The French group has ended the year 2022 with a net loss of 301 million EUR (321.3 million USD).

Despite this loss, the rating agency is expecting a better performance from the reinsurer over the next two years. This improvement will be driven by the measures taken by the company's management, including the reduced exposure to natural catastrophe risks.
