Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) closed the first six months of 2026 with turnover of 2.078 billion EUR (2.4 billion USD), up 10.7% year-over-year.
Gross written premiums were primarily generated from natural catastrophe business (95.1%), followed by terrorism risks (4.6%), exceptional risks (0.2%), and run-off business (0.1%).
Net profit for the first half of the year stood at 143 million EUR (163.1 million USD), down 8.9% year-over-year.
The underwriting result decreased by 55.7% to 27 million EUR (30.8 million USD), while investment income increased by 11.2% to 159 million EUR (181.4 million USD).
