First annual meeting of the Association of African Insurance Supervisory Authorities (3ACA)

ACAPSThe first annual meeting of the Association of African Insurance Supervisory Authorities (3ACA) took place on 31 March and 1 April in Casablanca, Morocco. This meeting was organized by ACAPS, the Moroccan Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare.

The 3ACA brings together the various supervisory authorities of African insurances. It aims to develop cooperation between its various members, to increase the exchange of experience, to reinforce the supervision of the market and to protect the insured.

ACAPS has signed agreements with some of its African counterparts: CIMA (inter-African conference on insurance markets), ARCA (Insurance Regulatory and Control Authority – Democratic Republic of the Congo), DGTM (Directorate General of Madagascar Treasury), CGA (General Insurance Committee, Tunisia), etc.
